Discover

Sintra, Cascais and Estoril

After breakfast depart towards Sintra. The first stop will be at Pena Palace and Pena Park. After vist the charismatic village of Sintra – Unesco World Heritage. Take time to visit shops, eat the traditional pastry “queijada” or “travesseiro”, and take a walk on the narrow and colorful streets. The tour follows around the hill where you will be amazed by the mysticism of Quinta da Regaleira. Straight to the west coast, you can see the unique view - Azenhas do Mar - and lunch at a non-touristic restaurant where you can eat the best grilled fish and seafood. After lunch, you will then continue to the westernmost point of Europe Continent – Cabo da Roca. On the way to Cascais you will pass by Guincho beach and Boca do Inferno. Once in Cascais take a stroll around the charming bay of Cascais with its beach and appreciate a luxurious life style. The tour ends with a fantastic trip from Cascais, by the Portuguese Riviera on the seaside, through the Estoril coast to Lisbon.

After breakfast enjoy this private half-day tour of Lisbon's highlights where you can explore the best and most iconic parts of the city. Stop at different viewpoints and including its main monuments. Starting in the typical neighborhood of Alfama you will see the main Cathedral of Lisbon. Then contemplate a magnificent viewpoint overlooking Lisbon, São Jorge Castle, Rio Tejo, and much more. Heading to Belém (emblematic district of the Portuguese Discoveries), you will be able to visit the impressive Monastery of Jerónimos, the fabulous Belém Tower and the magnificent Monument to the Discoveries. It’s impossible to leave Belém without tasting the delicious and one-of-a-kind Custard Pie (Pastel de Belém). Returnig to the heart of Lisbon center, this panoramic tour will take you to the old neighborhoods of Chiado, Bairro Alto and will pass on the trendy Liberdade Avenue, Rossio Square and Pombaline Downtown – where you'll get to know the Lisbon Great Earthquake 1755 details.

After breakfast check-out and meet your private driver/guide in your hotel lobby to start your journey towards Porto. First stop will be in Nazaré, a typical fishing town known for its giant waves surfed by Garrett McNamara. Next will be Óbidos, the mediaeval town that is one of the most picturesque and well preserved in Portugal. The last city before Porto is Aveiro, discover a landscape dominated by water, next to the sea and the ria (estuary), is crossed by a network of channels through which "moliceiros" (local boats) meander. These slim, colorful vessels used to be used to collect algae and seaweed, and today are for sightseeing trips. Once in Porto check-in at your 5* Hotel.

Enjoy a leisure morning to relax and in the early afternoon meet your private driver/guide in the hotel lobby who will show you the highlights of the city of Porto, starting in the historic center discover Clérigos Tower, the Lello Bookstore, considered by Lonely Planet one of the three most beautiful bookstores in the world. Across Aliados Avenue, you will find São Bento Railway Station, where you can observe its twenty thousand painted tiles, depicting historical landmarks. Continue to Santa Catarina street. Enjoy one of the most beautiful views over the Douro River from Porto Cathedral then, you visit the Stock Exchange Palace. After the tour join the port wine cellar tradition in a different experience: a visit to the cellars, with wine tasting, followed by a fado concert.

Douro Valley

Start your journey towards Douro Valley after breakfast. Enjoy the ride and the beautiful scenario. First stop will be at Quinta da Pacheca, one of the most prestigious and recognized properties in the Douro Demarcated Region, here you will have a guided visit with wine tasting to the wine cellar and winery followed by lunch. After you will be taken to Quinta do Seixo with a fantastic view of the River Douro, a “widescreen” panorama of light and colors that change throughout the year, illustrating one of the Douro region’s most beautiful picture-perfect estates. You will have a guided visit with wine tasting lead by Sandeman Don.

After breakfast and check-out, depending on the time of your departure flight, take a free morning to buy some souvenirs and, at the time to be determined considering the flight, your private driver will transfer you to Porto airport.
