I know it may seem like an overstatement, but there's nothing like it, believe me. The idea came from the head of Álvaro Martinho, agricultural engineer and chief operating officer of the Quinta das Carvalhas (OAK FARM), the largest farm in the Douro, with 600 hectares. Unhappy with how farms neglected their visitors, Alvaro found a way to show to the travelers the heart of the Douro Valley.
